Instructions for Use (General):
⚠️ Warning: As this is a chemical, be sure to wear gloves , a mask , and protective glasses . Work in a well-ventilated area.
1. Surface Preparation:

The metal surface must be clean, oil-free and dry .

If there is oil, fingerprints or oxide, effective results cannot be obtained.

Clean the surface thoroughly with a wire brush, sandpaper or metal polishing soap.

If necessary, degrease with acetone or alcohol.
2. Application:

For small parts, the liquid immersion method can be used.

For large parts, it can be applied with cotton, brush or sponge.

It starts to show its effect within a few seconds after application.

If necessary, it can be applied in layers.
3. Color Control and Rinse:

Once you reach the desired darkening level, rinse immediately with water .

Soapy water or weakly carbonated water is sometimes recommended to neutralize.

If the chemical remains on the surface, excessive darkening or staining may occur.
4. Drying and Fixing:
-
The metal surface must be dried thoroughly (a hair dryer can be used).
-
It can be fixed with polishing or varnish upon request .
-
This step helps to maintain the antique look for a long time.
